Have a dental-related question? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • What insurance do you accept?

We accept payment from all insurances excluding Sun Life. However, we are only in-netowrk with Delta Dental and West Virginia Medicaid. This just means that if you have an insurance that is out-of-netowrk, you may have a higher copay for certain procedures.

  • When should I first bring my child to the dentist?

Here at Zegeer Dental, we recommend bringing your child in for an appointment at the first appearance of teeth, or at the very latest, one year of age. These routine visits will ensure your child's oral health is being monitored, while getting them comfortable with the dental chair and office environment.

  • How many times a day should I be brushing my teeth?

Our dentists recommend brushing your teeth once in the morning and again in the evening. And don't forget to floss!

  • How often should I be flossing my teeth?

Flossing is important to remove food and plaque from in-between the teeth that your toothbrush bristles cannot reach. Flossing correctly at least once per day ensures healthy gums and a cavity-free smile!

  • How do I prevent cavities?

You can prevent cavities by brushing twice a day, flossing daily, proper diet, and attending routine dental appointments. Call to make an appointment today!

  • How often should I see a dentist?

Here at Zegeer Dental, we recommend that you see a dentist about twice a year. There are some cases in which we will recommend you come in more frequently, in the event of gingivitis and/or bone loss. Don't wait for routine visits if you are having any dental issues or concerns!

  • Are you currently accepting new patients?

Yes! Call to make an appointment today!
